Our Story

I'll be honest with you. I nearly didn't start this.

I'm a 41-year-old senior lecturer. I do paramedic shifts on the side. I've got a wife, kids, a full calendar, and a body that doesn't look the way it used to. And for a long time, I felt like the fitness world wasn't built for someone like me.

Not because I wasn't capable. But because everywhere I looked — the gyms, the brands, the content — it all seemed aimed at someone else. Someone younger, leaner, with more time and less life going on. Someone who already belonged there.

And the kit? Don't get me started. I'd walk into a gym wearing something that rode up, pulled across the belly, or just felt wrong — and that's before I'd even started the workout. You shouldn't have to fight your own clothing as well as your own head.

So, I started LionFit.

Not as a business plan. Not as a side hustle with a ten-step strategy. As a genuine response to something I couldn't find anywhere else — gymwear and athleisure designed for real people. People with belly coverage needs. People who want to feel covered and comfortable without looking like they've given up on style. People doing 15-minute workouts between the school run and a Zoom call and calling that a win — because it is.

I built LionFit from my garage. I press the garments myself. I pack every order by hand. When you get something from us, a real person — me — put it together for you.

The brand is built on one belief: there's an athlete in all of us. You don't have to earn your place in the fitness space. You don't have to look a certain way first. You don't have to be starting from zero — because you're not. You're starting from everything you've already been through.

LionFit exists for the person who showed up — even when it felt like the whole industry was telling them not to bother.

That person is me. And if it's you too — welcome. You belong here.
